Instrumentation Specialist

Required Qualifications and Education:
Not required, but recommended: Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
Minimum Experience Required:
- 8+ years of experience as Instrumentation Specialist
- Experience in setting up geotechnical and structural instrumentation
- Coordination with involved parties during installation (Operations, Drillers, etc)
Relevant Industry experience
- Geotechnical and underground works: tunneling, mining, deep excavations
- Civil construction projects
- Instrumentation and Monitoring
Required equipment/instrumentation experience
- High-skilled in geotechnical instrumentation installation, including but not limited to inclinometers, extensometers, piezometers, automated monitored total stations, etc.
- High-skilled in structural instrumentation installation, including but not limited to strain gauges, tiltmeters, vibration monitors, etc.
Additional Requirements
- High-skilled in instrumentation and monitoring software setup
- High-skilled in geotechnical instrumentation troubleshooting
- Planning and control of every step of the installation of the instruments
- Coordination skills to ensure proper execution of installation activities
